Some addresses that can receive standard My Food Bag deliveries may not be in a delivery area that can be serviced by the My Food Bag Shop due to the delivery network we are using. All of our products are packaged with wool insulation and ice to keep them fresh and chilly. They will be left at the door if the recipient isn’t home, but we do recommend un-packing them into the fridge as quickly as possible.
Yes – many of our bundles have meal customisation that allows you to select which fresh ready made meals you’d like. There are also optional add ons with every bundle so you choose extra items to suit the recipient.
Yes! Our ready made meals are made fresh every week and shipped straight out. They can then be kept chilled in the fridge up until the best before date or popped in the freezer for up to 3 months. Check on the packaging for cooking instructions.

No, you don't need to have a My Food Bag subscription to purchase from My Food Bag, and you will not need to set up a My Food Bag account. This is a one-off delivery.
To make sure your recipient knows who their gift is from, please complete the Gift Card with a clear message. We don’t include the sender’s details in any of our communications, so the Gift Card is the only way for them to know it’s from you. Ahead of delivery, your recipient will receive a text from My Food Bag and NZ Post, but this message will not mention the sender’s name.
Our ready-made meal packaging is fully recyclable and designed to be safely heated in both the oven and microwave. For the best results, we recommend heating pies and lasagnes in the oven, while pastas can be heated in either the oven or microwave. When using the oven, place the plastic dish on an oven tray. Always lift the meal in and out of the oven using the tray, as the packaging may soften slightly when hot. Please do not set your oven above 180°C or use the grill function.
Yes, our delivery partner will send the recipient a text with a tracking number so they can follow their delivery, followed by a second text to confirm once it has arrived.
