At My Food Bag, we prioritise whole, minimally processed foods with a focus on quality. Serving sizes and overall nutrition profile do vary depending on the recipe, but in general, our bags are designed to serve 1, 2, 4 or 6 people.
Our nutrition team and chefs design our recipes with balance in mind to cover off the major food groups. Our meals typically follow the plate model which reflect the latest Ministry of Health Eating and Activity guidelines. This is typically ½ plate vegetables (mainly non-starchy), ¼ plate protein foods and ¼ plate carbohydrate foods.

Nutritionist's Pick
You’ll spot plenty of Nutritionist's Pick recipes in our range. These are selected by our in-house nutrition team and each meal contains at least 2+ serves of veggies per person and considers the sodium, saturated fat, sugar and calorie content too.
Low Carb
Our Low Carb recipes contain 30g of carbs or less and focus on nutrient dense whole foods. Each meal features at least 3+ serves of vegetables, a variety of protein sources from meat, eggs, dairy and legumes and you'll see sources of healthy fat too.
Heart Healthy
Developed with support from the Heart Foundation, we've focused on creating meals that provide plenty of fibre-rich veggies, whole grains, good fats and heart-healthy sources of protein like beans and legumes
You can find the nutrition information for each recipe in your account area by clicking on the recipe image and you'll also see it on your recipe card. We provide the energy (calories and kilojoules), protein, carbohydrate, sugar, total fat, saturated fat and sodium per serve to help you choose recipes that are best suited to your health and nutrition needs.
Yes we do! We aim to provide a wide range of recipes to suit different dietary needs. Such as our My Gluten Free Bag which is suited to those with gluten intolerance, wheat intolerance or coeliac disease. We also have a My Vegan & Veggie Bag suitable for those following a plant based or vegan diet. We clearly provide the allergens present in each recipe and every ingredient so that you're able to choose recipes and make substitutes as needed.
