Frequently asked questions

Will I get enough protein eating these meals?

Absolutely! All our vegan and veggie meals are balanced with protein in mind. Each meal has at least 15g protein per serve and many contain much more. Our vegan meals feature tofu, legumes (chickpeas, lentils, kidney beans etc), falafel, grains like quinoa, nuts, peanut butter, seeds and vegetables like peas and green beans. In addition, our veggie meals feature paneer, eggs, haloumi, feta and yoghurt.

Can I choose both vegan and vegetarian meals?

Yes, you can mix and match all meals in our Vegan & Veggie subscription. With 7 recipes to choose from every week, you have a choice from 4 vegan and 3 vegetarian options to select based on your preference.

Are your vegan meals free from animal products?

Our vegan meals don’t contain any ingredients derived from animal products. This includes all additives, preservatives and processing aids. However, some ingredients may be produced in a facility where animal products are also present and may have this stated on the label (i.e. you’ll see ‘may contain’ milk, egg, fish, mollusc or crustacea). We also use a wool based insulator currently in some of our deliveries over the warmer months to ensure all products stay cool during transit however, we are working on an alternative non-wool insulation solution for the near future.

I am strictly vegan, can I only be shown your vegan meals?

All our Vegan and Veggie bag customers are shown the full range of vegan and vegetarian meals. This is because many households like to choose from both these options. If you consistently select only vegan meals then these meals will be shown to you first, however, we always recommend still checking the recipes selected for you week to week.
